Helping the Community

Boughton Monchelsea Scout Group is a Scout Group committed to helping the community whenever necessary.  We are also very lucky to have the support of the Parish Council.

Cubs and Scouts are more involved with this as a lot of community activities are for the older children, but on occasions, Squirrels and Cubs will get involved too.

For Scouts specifically, it is required and encouraged that they carry out / attend at least half the community events throughout the year.

Examples of these events are:

- Church Parades – St George’s Day and Remembrance Day

- Boughton Monchelsea Village Summer Fete

- Boughton Monchelsea Village Litter Picks

- Boughton Monchelsea Christmas Events

- Helping Hands Supper Events

- Group Fund Raising Events
